Welcome to scarborough rider training.
Scarborough Rider training was set up in 1996 as a bike training school to cover Scarborough, Bridlington, Malton & Whitby. So we are definitely a well established company enjoying a very good reputation in our working areas. We have over 13 years of instructional experience mixed with the most up to date training techniques to pass on to our trainees so you can be sure you will receive the best instruction possible.
We always strive to keep you on the same bike throughout your training so you can concentrate on your riding instead of getting used to new bikes every lesson. We also try to keep you with the same instructor so there is continuity in your training. Ultimately this will serve to reduce the number of lessons and therefore the cost of your training up to test standard.
WE CONDUCT THE CBT COURSES 7 DAYS A WEEK- We are the only approved training body in the area to offer this so if you need a CBT on your son's or daughter's birthday then we can probably help. We offer GIFT VOUCHERS up to any amount, either for the CBT or for an entire course. Something to think about for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas or just because you love him/her. :-) Please phone and ask, or Email me for details.
At Scarborough Rider Training we will train you to
pass your motorbike test! Below is an ex pupil who happens

As well as the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT),
A1 and A2
Restricted Motorcycle Courses, Direct
Access Courses (DAS) and Refresher
Courses, we also offer the Enhanced Rider
Scheme (ERS). This riding scheme is specifically
designed to teach those who are already bikers and are looking to raise
their riding skills to a higher degree. The Enhanced Rider Scheme is
a fantastic course to take up as it can save you approximately 17% on
your insurance premium. That has to be worthwhile in this current economic
climate!

Bikes. . . Having been around for a while now, we have learnt which bikes are the best of the bunch for our pupils to learn on. Namely, Kawasaki's ER5 500cc DAS bikes, Honda's CBF 125 for 125 training, Honda's trusty and reliable CG125 for CBT and 125 training, Yamaha's SR125 for absolute beginners and all you short legged ones out there and finally for all you 16 yearolds, we have a Peugeot Trekker and a Honda Sky moped, for their ease of use and reliability.
