Do I need a theory test to do a C.B.T?

No.

Do I need to re-new my C.B.T before I take further training?

Yes if it has expired.

I have a full car licence, do I need a C.B.T?

You may only ride a 49cc moped if you passed you car test before February 2001. Anything bigger requires a C.B.T.

How old do I need to be to do my C.B.T?

16 years old.

Do I need to do another C.B.T to ride a 125cc when I am 17 years old?

No.

If I do my C.B.T on an automatic, can I ride a geared bike?

Yes, It will cover a rider for all types of mopeds/bikes up to 125cc.

Can I fail a C.B.T?

The C.B.T is not a test or exam, you cannot fail, however if you do not reach the required standard then you will have to re-book and take more training until you are competent enough to ride alone.

How long will my C.B.T last before I need to renew it?

2 years.

How long does C.B.T take?

We generally start around 8.30am and aim to finish around 4-5pm though this can vary regarding ability and style of bikes in use.
